Erik Everhard (born Mitch Hartwell December 2, 1976 in Calgary, Alberta, Canada) is a Canadian pornographic actor and director, known for gonzo pornography films.
Everhard is 5'10" and 185 pounds. He is a Canadian national of Ukrainian ancestry. In 1995, he moved to Vancouver to attend university. At that time, he made his first forays into pornography. In 1999, with the financial support of a friend, he moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in porn. Erik has performed in over 500 pornographic movies, and directed more than 40, most of them for Anabolic Video.
In a 2002 interview, Everhard attributed his career choice not to financial gain but to sexual enjoyment, saying he regularly enjoys sex and masturbation off camera.
Everhard's career began in Canada, first working for web sites. At the urging of friends and colleagues, he decided to work in pornography in the United States. His first shoot in the U.S. would be for an upstart director in Philadelphia named Jules Jordan.These two would collaborate to shoot pornographic scenes over the next years with several adult actresses including Adrianna Sage and Jeannie Rivers.
